Whitecomb Range Terms and Conditions

  1. Eligibility
    Participants must be 18 years or older (unless otherwise agreed in writing), hold a valid New Zealand Firearms Licence or be approved for supervised participation, and meet all equipment requirements listed during registration.
  2. Safety Requirements
    Safety is our highest priority. Participants must follow all instructor directions and range commands, comply with New Zealand firearms legislation and Whitecomb Range safety rules, use firearms and equipment safely and responsibly, and disclose any medical conditions that may affect participation.

  3. Assumption of Risk
    Firearms training and outdoor activities involve inherent risks. Participation is at your own risk. Whitecomb Range, its staff, and instructors are not liable for injury, illness, loss, or damage arising from participation.
  4. Equipment Requirements
    Participants must supply their own approved rifle, dial-up scope with cant level, minimum 50 rounds of suitable ammunition, bipod, rear bag, rangefinder, binoculars, and ballistic solver. Whitecomb Range reserves the right to refuse unsafe or unsuitable equipment.
  5. Weather & Course Changes
    Activities proceed in most weather conditions. Whitecomb Range may postpone or cancel activities if conditions are deemed unsafe. If Whitecomb Range cancels, participants may transfer to a new date at no additional cost.
  6. Payment, Cancellations & Refunds
    Full payment is required to secure a booking. Cancellations 14+ days prior receive a refund minus a 10% administration fee. Cancellations 7–14 days prior receive a 50% refund. Cancellations within 7 days receive no refund. Transfers may be requested 7+ days prior. Minimum numbers apply.
  7. Accommodation & Facilities
    Where applicable, accommodation and facilities must be treated with respect. Any damage may incur additional charges.
  8. Drugs, Alcohol & Behaviour
    No drugs or alcohol are permitted during training or firearms activities. Alcohol may only be consumed after firearms activities conclude. Unsafe or disruptive behaviour may result in removal without refund.
  9. Photography & Media
    Whitecomb Range may capture photographs or video for promotional purposes. Participants who do not wish to appear must notify staff prior to commencement.
  10. Privacy
    Personal information is used solely for booking, safety compliance, and operational purposes and will not be disclosed unless required by law.
  11. Acceptance of Terms
    By booking or attending activities at Whitecomb Range, participants confirm they have read and understood these Terms & Conditions, agree to comply with safety requirements, accept all associated risks, and understand the cancellation and refund policies
